Call for Abstracts

The Cost Estimating Community of Practice (CECOP) is accepting abstracts for presentation at the 2025 CECOP Symposium. Abstracts that are accepted will need to be made into presentations for delivery at the 2025 CECOP Symposium, from October 28-30, 2025 at Los Alamos National Laboratory in Los Alamos, NM’

Abstract Submission Deadline: May 14, 2025

Abstracts will be reviewed by the CEAG Council and the 2025 CECOP Symposium Planning Committee. Selections will be based on the CEAG Council’s and planning committee’s determination of pertinence and interest to CECOP. Submissions should be new content to the CECOP Symposium.

8th Annual CECOP Symposium


23-25 July 2024 Albuquerque, NM


The Cost Estimating and Analysis Group (CEAG), in partnership with SNL, held its 8th Annual Cost Estimating Community of Practice (CECOP) Symposium in July 2024. Cost estimators, schedulers, analysts, and other practitioners from across the NSE and government attended the three-day hybrid event, which was live-streamed from Sandia National Laboratories. Keynote speakers included Dr. Daryl J. Hauck, manager of NNSA’s Sandia Field Office, and Charley D. Hunt, Senior Technical Leader for Programmatic Analysis for NASA headquarters. In total, the event showcased more than 30 technical presentations, trainings, and workshops from cost estimating professionals across the nuclear security enterprise and external organizations.
