8th Annual CECOP Symposium
Call for Abstracts
The Cost Estimating Community of Practice (CECOP) is accepting abstracts for presentation at the 2024 CECOP Symposium. Abstracts that are accepted will need to be made into presentations for delivery at the 2024 CECOP Symposium, from July 23-25, 2024 at Sandia National Laboratories in Albuquerque, NM.
Abstract Submission Deadline: February 23, 2024
Abstracts will be reviewed by the CEAG Council and the 2024 CECOP Symposium Planning Committee. Selections will be based on the CEAG Council’s and planning committee’s determination of pertinence and interest to CECOP. Submissions should be new content to the CECOP Symposium.

7th Annual CECOP Symposium
1-3 AUGUST 2023 LIVERMORE, CA
The Cost Estimating and Analysis group (CEAG), in partnership with LLNL, held its 7th Annual Cost Estimating Community of Practice (CECOP) Symposium. Cost estimators, schedulers, analysts, and other practitioners from across the NSE and Government attended the three-day hybrid event, which was live-streamed at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory. Its keynote speakers were Mike Thompson, Principal Assistant Deputy Administrator for Stockpile Sustainment in the NNSA’s Office of Defense Programs and Greg and Karen Mislick, from the Naval Postgraduate School. The event also showcased 30 technical presentations from cost estimating professionals across the nuclear security enterprise and external organizations.
