The DOE offers a corporate mechanism which can serve as a bridge to the wide array of safety culture practices and practitioners at work across the DOE complex, including work being done by our Energy Facility Contractor's Group (EFCOG) and National Laboratory partners. Establishing a Safety Culture Community of Practice (COP) offers a mechanism to exchange ideas and lessons learned and strengthen a safety culture ethic across the Department whereby all work is planned, implemented, and completed in a workplace in which safety is the overriding priority.
