Merit Review Opportunities

Want to help OG select its research, development, and demonstration projects? Apply to be a reviewer!

OG projects are funded through competitive solicitations, and an important part of that competitive process is an independent merit review. OG relies on reviewer expertise to ensure its funded portfolio advances geothermal innovation while ensuring good stewardship of taxpayer dollars. A range of experts are eligible, including engineers, scientists, researchers, analysts, and other professionals (particularly those with financial or policy backgrounds) from the geothermal, oil and gas, and mining industries.

If you’d like to get involved, submit a brief introduction with your area(s) of expertise and current CV or resume to DOE.geothermal@ee.doe.gov.
