Categorical Exclusion (CX) Determinations By Date

The American Electric Power's (AEP's) Buckrun Switch to West Crawford 69 kV Transmission Line Rebuild Project will rebuild approximately 6.12 miles of existing linear transmission line infrastructure generally within its existing 60-foot-wide right-of-way (ROW) between the existing Blanchard Station and West Crawford Station (main line) and between the main line and South Vanlue Station, in Hancock and Wyandot counties, Ohio.
Commonwealth LNG, LLC (Commonwealth) filed an application (Application) with the Department of Energy's (DOE) Office of Fossil Energy and Carbon Management (FECM) (formerly the Office of Fossil Energy) on October 16, 2019.

Lake Charles LNG Export Company, LLC (Lake Charles LNG Export) filed an "Application for an Amendment to Extend the Commencement of Operations Deadline" (Extension Application) with the Office of Fossil Energy and Carbon Management (FECM) (formerly the Office of Fossil Energy) on April 17, 2025, pursuant to section 3 of the Natural Gas Act (NGA) and 10 CFR Part 590 of the Department of Energy's (DOE) regulations.
Funding will support the project team's small-scale research and development of an ultra-high power density alternating current (AC) - direct current (DC) Universal Power Mover (UPM), an electrically and mechanically stackable, low-to-medium voltage compatible, reconfigurable building block technology for the purpose of enabling electrical energy flow to and from the point of use, applicable among industries that use distributed grid-tiered systems, such as EV charging and energy storage.
