DOE's Hanford Field Office and Hanford Laboratory Management and Integration LLC (HLMI) propose to construct and operate a new Laboratory Operations Center (LOC). The primary purpose and need for the LOC would meet the expanding overall needs of the 222-S Laboratory (Lab), particularly in light of the intensified operational demands expected in the coming years. The LOC would involve the disassembly and relocation of currently unoccupied mobile office trailers MO-2191 and MO-2199, located north of the Reduction-Oxidation Plant (REDOX) in the site's 200 West Area. These mobile office trailers would be relocated to an approximate 7,920 ft2 vacant land area, adjacent to and southwest of the Lab's existing complex of facilities, where they would be reassembled and upgraded.
