On March 23, 2026, the Department of Energy (DOE) issued emergency DOE Order No. 202-26-20, pursuant to section 202(c) of the Federal Power Act, to CenterPoint Energy and the Midcontinent Independent System Operator, Inc. (MISO). The order directs CenterPoint Energy and MISO to take all measures necessary to ensure that Unit 2 at the F.B. Culley Generating Station in Warrick County, Ind. is available to operate. This order is in effect beginning on March 24, 2026, through June 21, 2026.
