Notice of Intent to Prepare an Environmental Assessment for the Transformation of Facilities and Infrastructure for the Non-Nuclear Production Activities Conducted at the National Nuclear Security Administration’s Kansas City Plant at Kansas City, Missouri. The United States General Services Administration (GSA) and the United States Department of Energy’s National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) will prepare an Environmental Assessment (EA), DOE/EA-1592, to relocate certain non-nuclear component production and procurement activities currently conducted at NNSA’s Kansas City Plant (KCP) to a smaller new facility.
SMUD's proposed action consists of the removal and relocation of a section of the existing double circuit Orangevale-Lake/Whiterock Orangevale 230 kV transmission line presently located within the project footprint for the Folsom Bridge and road project and the Folsom Auxiliary Spillway Project.

The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) is proposing to complete the decontamination and demolition of Building 301 at Argonne National Laboratory (ANL) in Argonne, Illinois.
DOE prepared an Environmental Assessment (EA) for the Proposed Consolidation and Expansion of the Idaho National Laboratory Research and Development at a Science and Technology Campus (STC) (DOE/EA-1555). Based on the analyses in the EA, the selected alternative would not have, and would likely prevent, a significant effect on the human environment within the meaning of NEPA.
