Categorical Exclusion Determinations: Bonneville Power Administration

Bonneville Power Administration (BPA) proposes to improve existing landings at structures 26/4 and 26/8 on the Targhee-Drummond transmission line in the Idaho Falls TLM District. The proposed project would allow safe and timely access to the transmission line structures which would reduce outage times and maintain reliable power in the region.
BPA proposes to sell the BPA Mountain Avenue Substation to the City of Ashland. The proposed activity would be to sell the BPA substation and the associated fee-owned substation property to the city. The City of Ashland would then operate the substation. BPA would retain easements for the substation including the tap line into the substation.
Bonneville Power Administration (BPA) is proposing to replace eight deteriorating wood pole structures and any associated hardware and guys at specific locations in BPA’s Olympia District. For all structures, the work would include removing the existing wood pole structures (and guy wires if present) and replacing them with in-kind in the same location.
