Western Area Power Administration proposes to conduct routine maintenance on existing access roads located on the north side of the Shiprock Substation, in San Juan County, New Mexico. Western Area Power Administration plans to improve sections of the existing access roads to create a smooth surface to allow safe access for vehicles and maintenance equipment entering the substation.
