The purpose of the proposed action is to clean out the Fermilab Collider Detector at Fermilab (CDF) for the purpose of preparing the facility for new activities, now that the Tevatron run has concluded. The CDF central detector would be stripped to allow for it to be used in future fixed-target experiments.
