The objective for this project is to focus on furthering the development of floating offshore wind farm technologies for deep water deployments. Project activities will include curriculum development; field studies; environmental monitoring; cost analyses; lab studies to validate aeroelastic-hydrodynamlc models and floating platform designs for floating turbines; and the installation of one to three scale-model floating wind turbine platforms.
