On March 22, 2023, from 12:00 – 4:00 p.m. EDT, the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) and U.S. Department of Interior’s Bureau of Ocean Energy Management (BOEM) hosted the final workshop in a series of Atlantic Offshore Wind Transmission Stakeholder Convenings.

Members of the public who have an interest in offshore wind (OSW) and clean energy, live on or near the Atlantic Coast from Maine to South Carolina, and/or participate in the marine economy were encouraged to attend.

This stakeholder workshop discussed the agencies’ findings following the convening workshop series, previewed the preliminary results from the Atlantic Offshore Wind Transmission Study, and provided opportunities for public comment.

A select group of industry leaders provided responses to the actions presented by the federal team and shared what potential implications may be for broader stakeholders.
