Light, Color, and Spectroscopy for Kids Workshop

At this full-day workshop, elementary and middle school teachers engage in a wide variety of activities to assist their students in understanding important concepts about light and color. Teachers receive materials needed to perform these activities in their own classrooms and Pennsylvania teachers receive 5 professional education hours (Act 48). The workshop is sponsored by the Spectroscopy Society of Pittsburgh. Registration fee is $20, which includes lunch.
