The Office of Secure Transportation proposes to fund the US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) to construct site improvements to the Logistics Support Site (LSS) located at 11408 Roberts Blvd in Fort Smith, Arkansas (72903). The scope of the project includes constructing a concrete backlot behind the vehicle maintenance facility (VMF) and make several improvements for storm water drainage around the perimeter of the site. This scope of work includes adding approximately 155,000 square feet of concrete paving for vehicle maneuvering in and around the vehicle maintenance shop in a previously graded and graveled area. Drainage improvements involve regrading and/or slope protection around the perimeter of the property; these would not change the overall drainage characteristics of the property or result in new sources of discharge.
