Leaders of Newport News Nuclear BWXT Los Alamos and Northern New Mexico College joined the families and friends of Milnor Branch and Dominic Montaño to celebrate the students’ successful completion of the two-year N3B Nuclear Operator Apprenticeship Program. Representatives of Northern New Mexico College (NNMC) and EM Los Alamos Field Office (EM-LA) contractor Newport News Nuclear BWXT Los Alamos (N3B) were on hand last week to congratulate Dominic Montaño and Milnor Branch.
EM Senior Advisor William “Ike” White participated in the EM Los Alamos Field Office and Los Alamos cleanup contractor Newport News Nuclear BWXT Los Alamos quarterly public outreach meeting, the Environmental Management Cleanup Forum, “From Oppenheimer to Tomorrow,” in historic Fuller Lodge, during White’s recent visit to New Mexico.
With the recent uptick in interest in the role Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL) played in the World War II-era Manhattan Project, EM Senior Advisor William White was joined by EM Los Alamos Field Office (EM-LA) officials in a visit to Los Alamos.
Rebecca Trujillo recently joined Newport News Nuclear BWXT-Los Alamos (N3B) as a field execution technical lead after attending an N3B job fair at Northern New Mexico College. She represents EM’s sought-after next generation of employees to continue its environmental cleanup mission across the DOE complex.
A series of recent job fairs hosted by the EM Los Alamos Field Office cleanup contractor have resulted in 26 new employees supporting the mission to address environmental impacts from legacy operations at Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL).
