The Office of Worker Safety and Health (EH-21) hosts educational sessions that focus on relevant and emerging health and safety topics pertinent to the Department of Energy (DOE) Complex. Experts in Occupational Safety and Health, Industrial Hygiene, Health Physics, and engineering disciplines present during live sessions that are recorded. The sessions provide reminders to the DOE Complex about upcoming meetings and pertinent information about what the office is accomplishing.
Worker Safety and Health Policy Clarification Portal (PC Portal)
The Worker Safety and Health Policy Clarification Portal (PC Portal) is a service maintained by the Office of Worker Safety and Health Policy, EHSS-11, within the Office of Health and Safety, EHSS-10. The PC Portal provides workers from across the DOE complex the opportunity to submit questions regarding worker safety and health policy. EHSS-11 answers these questions, called “technical clarifications”, and they represent the best available technical knowledge at the time. These technical clarifications are NOT binding upon DOE as official policy.
