The U.S. Department of Energy's Industrial Efficiency and Decarbonization Office (IEDO) provides cost-shared funding to pursue innovative technology research and development (R&D) across the manufacturing sector.

Funding is awarded through an open, competitive process. Project selections are merit-based and emphasize potential energy, environmental, and economic benefits.
