ITO Funded Projects

The U.S. Department of Energy's (DOE) Industrial Technologies Office (ITO) funds manufacturing research and development projects through competitive solicitations known as funding opportunities, as well as prizes, lab calls, and requests for proposals from its network of manufacturing institutes.

You can view all active and completed funding programs in the tables below. These tables include announced funding programs, program areas, year(s) announced, and amount announced dating back to 2016 and include funding issued by DOE's former Advanced Manufacturing Office. This data is subject to change and is for general informational purposes only. Please direct questions to ito@ee.doe.gov.

ITO funding, which includes funding opportunity announcements (FOAs) and request for proposals (RFPs), falls into one of three research areas: Energy Intensive Industries (EII), Cross-Cutting Technologies (CST), and Technical Assistance and Workforce Development (TAWD).
