July 25 is National Intern Day! Today, we're celebrating the fresh perspectives our interns bring to the workforce and the amazing work that they do.

This summer, DOE is proud to host over 1,450 interns from a variety of educational backgrounds. 

Since 2002, the Office of Science Office of Workforce Development for Teachers and Scientists (WDTS) has sponsored more than 1,900 Community College Internships (CCI) and 15,800 Science Undergraduate Laboratory Internships (SULI).

Spotlight on MSIPP STARS Summer Interns

The Office of Environmental Management (EM) Minority Serving Institutions Partnership Program (MSIPP) provides students and graduates of Minority Serving Institutions (MSIs) with hands-on education and experience by supporting collaborations between MSIs and DOE national laboratories.
