Sean Sullivan is the Communications Lead in the U.S. Department of Energy’s (DOE’s) Office of Technology Commercialization (OTC). In this role, he oversees communications strategies designed to amplify the impact of DOE’s commercialization activities. He manages outreach campaigns, web content, strategic messaging, and cross-agency engagement to support the office’s efforts to bring breakthrough energy technologies from the lab to the market.
Before joining DOE, Sean served as the Marketing Director for NASA’s Technology Transfer Program. In that role, he led national marketing campaigns to increase awareness of NASA’s intellectual property portfolio and streamline access to federally funded innovations.
He holds a BA in Media Arts: Producing from the University of Arizona, where he graduated in 2010.
