Nuclear Energy University Program, in partnership with American Nuclear Society, is happy to present part two of the Innovations Student Competition Webinar Series. This series features presentations from student awardees of the Innovations in Nuclear Energy Research & Development Student Competition (INSC). Each student will present their research and hold a question and answer session. The first webinar was held in December 2023, and the second in the series will be held on Wednesday, Feb 21, 2024 at 2PM ET.
Innovations Student Competition Webinar Series: Part 2 features
- Jonathan Crozier of North Carolina State University who will present “Thermal Scattering Law for Structure-Dependent-Doppler Broadening in FLASSH;"
- University of South Carolina's Travis Deason who will present “Developing Waste Forms for Transuranic Elements: Quaternary Neptunium Fluorides of the Type NaxMNp6F30 (M = Ti, V, Cr, Mn, Fe,Co, Ni, Al, Ga);"
- and Theresa "Kelsy" Green from the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor, presenting "Effect of N2- and CO2-containing shielding gases on composition modification and carbonitride precipitation in wire arc additive manufactured grade 91 steel."
