CONTRACT COMPETITION HOME PAGE

Welcome to the home page for the NSDD Counter Nuclear Smuggling System Deployment (CNSSD) Contract Competition.

NSDD’s mission is to improve the capabilities of various agencies in partner countries to detect, disrupt, and investigate the illicit trafficking of nuclear and other radioactive material. This includes providing NSDD partners with commercially available radiation detection systems, radiation detection devices, communications systems, security systems, security equipment, and passive barriers to reduce the threat of nuclear proliferation and terrorism.

The NSDD is conducting a contract competition for CNSSD services. The scope and types of work required for this procurement will primarily focus on the deployment of mobile, portable, and distributed Counter Nuclear Smuggling (CNS) systems to international locations outside of U.S. territories and facilities. The work will include managing, overseeing, and integrating the design, construction, logistics, equipment, testing, and communications networks in said international locations.
