Based on the analyses in the Environmental Assessment, DOE determined that its proposed action, awarding a federal grant to FutureFuel Chemical Company, to partially fund the design, installation and operations of a commercial-scale plant to produce intermediate anode material for high-performance lithium-ion batteries would result in no significant adverse impacts.
Based on the analyses in the Environmental Assessment, DOE determined that its proposed action - awarding a federal grant to Rhode Island LFG Genco, LLC to facilitate expansion of an existing landfill gas collection system and construction and operation of a combined cycle landfill gas-to-electricity generating plant - would result in no significant adverse impacts.
The Environmental Assessment provides sufficient evidence and analysis to determine that a Finding of No Significant Impact is appropriate for the proposed wastewater treatment facility footprint and operations expansion, and the environmental restoration action measures that may be required within the upper end of Sandia Canyon at Los Alamos National Laboratory.
