The Department of Energy is proposing to provide federal funds to the Texas Engineering Experiment Station (TEES) to complete a laboratory scale research and development project to improve the conversion of biomass feedstocks into products and fuels. All tasks will be completed at an existing Texas A&M University research facility. Project tasks are all related to the mechanical testing and scale up of a pretreatment reactor and project management. No Genetically Modified Organisms will be used or created during this project.
