Estacada High School is proposing to use State Energy Program American Recovery and Reinvestment Act funding to install a 4 Million British Thermal Units per hour (MMBTU/hr) wood boiler to cover all the heating needs at the facility. This project was previously proposed as a 2.91 MMBTU/hr wood boiler, which fell within the bounds of the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) template, and was Categorically excluded. This NEPA determination is for the change in scope due to an increase in the size of the boiler for the proposed project.
