The University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee proposes to use federal funds to advance the manufacture and fundamental understanding of hybrid nanostructure-based photovoltaic cells and hybrid nanoparticle-graphene structures for solar energy. They plan to investigate new methods for manufacturing, analyze properties of hybrid nanostructures, and to explore the uses of nanostructures for photovoltaic cells.
