The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Office of Energy Dominance Financing (EDF) has re-published an Environmental Assessment (EA) prepared to support a prior Rural Utilities Service (RUS) funding decision, including a signed Finding of No Significant Impact (FONSI). The EA discloses the environmental impacts associated with providing potential financial assistance (a federal loan guarantee) for Georgia Power Company’s Rockville 500kV Substation. The Project is in Putnam County, Georgia.
