On December 19, 2022, the U.S. Department of Energy, Office of Enterprise Assessments, Office of Enforcement and the National Nuclear Security Administration entered into a negotiated settlement by Consent Order (WCO-2022-02) with Mission Support and Test Services, LLC, to resolve worker safety and health issues that were identified during an investigation pursuant to 10 C.F.R. § 851.40 Investigations and inspections associated with an uninterruptible power supply battery bank failure event at the Nevada National Security Site.
