In case you missed it, U.S. Secretary of Energy Chris Wright just wrapped up his first visit to Houston, Texas as the 17th U.S. Secretary of Energy, where he delivered a keynote address at CERAWeek 2025 and participated in the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. Throughout the trip, Secretary Wright highlighted the administration’s return to commonsense energy policies that increase supply of affordable, reliable and secure energy sources; advance innovation and lower costs for the American people.

At the 43rd annual CERAWeek by S&P Global, Secretary Wright outlined the administration’s strategy to enhance the production of affordable, reliable, and secure American energy. He emphasized the critical role of fossil fuels in meeting global energy demands and the need to "end the Biden administration's irrational, quasi-religious policies on climate change that imposed endless sacrifices on our citizens."
