Dr. Ashley Nunes is Director, Office of Policy at the U.S. Department of Energy. He leads a team that advises the Office of the Secretary on issues related to energy production, job creation, and infrastructure investment. Nunes has served on the President’s Council of Economic Advisors and executed policy analysis for the Department of Defense, Department of State, and the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy. He spent a decade at Harvard, where he taught economics and examined how innovation affects markets. Nunes received his doctoral degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign.
