On November 15, 2021, President Biden signed the historic Bipartisan Infrastructure Deal. The deal is a once-in-a-generation investment in our nation’s infrastructure that will create good-paying union jobs, combat climate change, and grow the economy sustainably and equitably for decades to come. The deal is a key piece in President Biden’s climate agenda and includes more than $62 billion to the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) to deliver for the American people by:

  • Investing in American manufacturing and workers
  • Expanding access to energy efficiency and clean energy for families, communities, and businesses
  • Delivering reliable, clean, and affordable power to more Americans
  • Building the technologies of tomorrow through clean energy demonstrations
