Summary

The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Idaho Operations Office prepared an environmental assessment (EA) for the Development of the Energy Technology Proving Ground (DOE/EA-2312). The EA assesses the potential environmental impacts associated with the development of enabling infrastructure and a range of research and support facilities within a defined footprint at Idaho National Laboratory (INL). The proposed action includes site preparation and development activities such as grading, utility installation, construction of access roads, development of utility corridors, and establishment of general-purpose pads, along with construction of general-purpose research and support facilities.
