Tim Beville serves as the Deputy Assistant Secretary for the Nuclear Infrastructure Programs in the Office of Nuclear Energy. In this role, he directs the Idaho National Laboratory (INL) Facilities Operations and Maintenance program, the Idaho Sitewide Safeguards and Security mission, and the DOE radioisotope power systems program supporting NASA deep space missions.
Throughout his career, Mr. Beville has been an accomplished and results-driven leader of Government programs with recognized talent in initiating, developing, and managing complex, programs focused on developing new nuclear energy capabilities for domestic use. Prior this role, Mr. Beville was responsible for directing and executing the Advanced Reactor Demonstration Program, focused on public/private partnerships with the domestic nuclear industry to design, license, construct, and operate select U.S.-based advanced nuclear reactors. During his time at DOE and the National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA), Mr. Beville has developed and directed several other high-profile technical programs supporting nuclear power and nuclear weapons research and development. Mr. Beville also has experience in the inspection and oversight of both commercial and Government-owned nuclear facilities.
Mr. Beville holds a MS in Nuclear Engineering and BS in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Maryland at College Park.
