PF 2026-44 Class Deviation to DEAR Part 916 - Types of Contracts to implement changes to FAR Part 16 - Types of Contracts

SUMMARY:  This class deviation updates the Department of Energy Acquisition Regulation (DEAR) Part 916 - Types of Contracts to implement the changes to the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 16 - Types of Contracts by the Federal Acquisition Regulatory Council through the Revolutionary FAR Overhaul (RFO) initiative and make other revisions as to the DEAR to implement the deregulatory and plain language requirements of Executive Order 14275 and Office of Management and Budget Memorandum M-25-26.

The DOE class deviation, DEAR Part 916 Deviation Text – Track Changes, DEAR Part 916 Deviation Text – Final, and the class deviation where DOE and NNSA adopted RFO FAR Part 16 (including the FAR Part 16 Model Deviation Text and OMB Memorandum M-25-26, Overhauling the Federal Acquisition Regulation), are attached.
