On February 23, 2026, the Department of Energy (DOE) issued DOE Order No. 202-26-17, pursuant to section 202(c) of the Federal Power Act, to PJM Interconnection, L.L.C. (PJM). The order directs PJM, in coordination with Constellation Energy Corporation, to ensure Units 3 and 4 of the Eddystone Generating Station in Pennsylvania remain available for operation and to employ economic dispatch to minimize costs for the American people. This order is in effect beginning on February 24, 2026, through May 24, 2026.
