Summary
Western Area Power Administration (WAPA) prepared a draft environmental assessment (EA) for the MPP-Q01 Interconnection Project (DOE/EA-2208). The EA assessed the potential environmental impacts of a proposal to interconnect a proposed 230-kilovolt (kV) transmission line near Bagdad, Arizona, to WAPA’s existing Mead-Perkins 525-kV transmission line near the junction of U.S. Route 93 and Arizona State Route 97.
