MPP-Q01 Interconnection Request; Yavapai County, Arizona

The Western Area Power Administration (WAPA) issued a finding of no significant impact (FONSI) based on the final environmental assessment (EA) for the MPP-Q01 Interconnection Request (DOE/EA-2208). This EA assesses the potential environmental impacts of Arizona Public Service's proposal to interconnect a proposed 230-kilovolt (kV) transmission line near Bagdad, Arizona, to WAPA’s existing Mead-Perkins 525-kV transmission line at a new WAPA switchyard near the junction of U.S. Route 93 and Arizona State Route 97.
