JUMP into STEM is back with three new challenges and more opportunities for university students interested in building science. The U.S. Department of Energy’s (DOE) Building Technologies Office’s annual competition kicks off its sixth year August 1, 2023.
The competition challenge topics for 2023 are the following:
- Keepin’ It Cool (or Hot)
- That’s a Wrap
- You and Me, Carbon Free!
This year’s JUMP into STEM challenge closes and judging begins on November 10, 2023. No new submissions will be accepted after 5 p.m. EST. Internship applications must be finished and submitted through Zintellect. Please note that professor recommendations will be due one week after this deadline. The Final Competition will be held January 25-26, 2024, at ORNL.
