Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Technologies Office
June 8, 2023On June 5, during the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Hydrogen Program's Annual Merit Review and Peer Evaluation Meeting, the DOE Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Technologies Office (HFTO) announced the winner and runners up of their 2023 Postdoctoral Recognition Award. This award recognizes postdoctoral fellows from DOE national laboratories for their outstanding contributions addressing research challenges and opportunities in hydrogen and fuel cell technologies. Launched in spring 2020, the HFTO Postdoctoral Recognition Award aligns with HFTO's commitment to advance and strengthen the hydrogen and fuel cells workforce in the United States.
The 2023 winners and runners up were chosen based on evaluations of candidate application packages and oral presentations by HFTO subject matter experts. Evaluation factors included technical accomplishments and impact, oral and written communication, and presentation skills.
