The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Portsmouth/Paducah Project Office (PPPO) proposes actions that include on-site waste handling and generation, waste reduction, pollution prevention, property transfer of surplus personal property, and asbestos abatement projects at the Paducah Gaseous Diffusion Plant (PGDP).
DOE proposes to construct, operate, and decommission a temporary compacted soil liner/cap test pad, which will include a soil borrow area, within the industrialized area at the Paducah Site located near Kevil in McCracken County, Kentucky.
