The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Paducah Site proposes to continue to manage polychlorinated biphenyl (PCB)-containing materials per 40 CFR Part 761, Polychlorinated Biphenyls (PCBs) Manufacturing, Processing, Distribution in Commerce, and Use Prohibitions, the Uranium Enrichment Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA) Compliance Agreement (CA), and the TSCA Approval for Disposal of PCB Bulk Product (Mixed) Waste, and any other applicable agreements or policies, as needed.
The proposed action would replace a portion of the existing overhead electrical power and fiber optic telecommunication poles and cables with buried cables along an approximately 3,583 feet long corridor extending from near the summit of Rattlesnake Mountain and downslope to the southeast.

Naval Nuclear Laboratory will be contracting to perform Decontamination and Decommissioning (D and D) Projects (Task Order No. 2) to remediate, dismantle, and dispose of select above grade structures and select components associated with Building 19 (S3G Plant Support/Interactive Display Equipment (IDE) Building), Building 20 (Equipment Service Building), Building 21 (Fuel Service Building), Building 80A and 80B (M-140 Complex), and Pad 90 (MARF Reactor Access Enclosure).
The scope of the West Campus (formerly Valley National Gas) Demolition and Site Restoration Project includes modifications to the site to support mobilization and future decommissioning operations by Department of Energy Office of Environmental Management (DOE-EM) at the Naval Nuclear Propulsion Program (NNPP) Bettis Laboratory.
