EA-1551: Draft Environmental Assessment

DOE issued, jointly with the Montana Department of Environmental Quality (MDEQ), a Draft EA that would also serve as the MDEQ Draft EIS; the Draft evaluated the potential environmental impacts of a proposed international transmission line that would cross the U.S.-Canada border in northwest Montana. Based on comments received on the Draft, DOE cancelled preparation of the EA and announced preparation of an EIS.
