National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) issued a Notice of Intent (NOI) to prepare a Programmatic Environmental Impact Statement (PEIS) for Plutonium Pit Production (DOE/EIS-0573) to assesses the potential environmental impacts of NNSA's proposed production of plutonium pits in support of the Stockpile Stewardship and Management Program.
