The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) National Energy Technology Laboratory (NETL) issued a Finding of No Significant Impact based on the environmental assessment (EA) for Kings Mountain Lithium Mine Project (DOE/EA-2265), which assesses the potential environmental impacts of DOE NETL's proposed action to move forward on the grant awarded to Albemarle to partially fund the design, construction, and start of operations for the Kings Mountain Mine (KMM) and a mineral processing plant that would produce spodumene concentrate.
