CX-270161: Power Management Training Area Expansion

This project proposes to modify the Power Management Training Area located on the northeast corner of the pole yard laydown area due north of the Central Facilities Area (CFA) substation (see Figure 1). The area would be extended to the north, and additional poles for training would be installed. There are currently 4 training poles east of the lay down area and approximately 50' west of the railroad. The project would install additional training poles and remove poles which are closer to the energized transmission line. The activity would take place in a previously disturbed area during the summer of 2016 at an estimated cost of ~$5 K.
