Under this notice of data availability DOE is providing notice that actual sales of four lamp types (i.e. rough service lamps, 3-way incandescent lamps, 2,601–3,300 lumen general service incandescent lamps, and shatter-resistant lamps) are not greater than 200 percent of the forecasted estimate and thus DOE has determined that no regulatory action pertaining to such lamps is necessary. DOE is also providing notice that actual sales of one lamp type (i.e. vibration service lamps) are 272.5 percent of the foretasted estimate and thus DOE has determined that an accelerated rulemaking to establish energy conservation standards for this lamp type should be undertaken.
