The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) proposes to establish requirements related to enforcement standards for central air conditioners, as authorized by the Energy Policy and Conservation Act (EPCA) of 1975.
The proposed changes to the regulations are procedural, and do not change the existing energy performance standards.
