DOE is proposing to provide federal funding to SineWatts, Inc. to develop state-of-the art silicon switches which may allow the previously developed SineWatts Inverter Molecule architecture to achieve 20x miniaturization and 100% siliconization allowing for more adequate, cost-effective performance prediction and, subsequently, more substantial integration of photovoltaic power plants onto the grid.
