The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (USEPA) and the South Carolina Department of Environmental Services (SCDES) approved soil vapor extraction (SVE) operations to be discontinued at the TNX Operable Unit (OU). After receipt of regulatory approval, sampling, operations, and maintenance of the TNX OU SVE wells (MicroBlowers) ceased. The MicroBlowers were disconnected and the wells plugged in March 2026, the MicroBlower equipment will be dismantled and removed (D and R) and wells will be abandoned later in FY2026.
