CX-035787: Improving Electrical and Economic Resilience in a Remote, Arctic Community-Airport Feeder - Critical Distribution Infrastructure Replacement

Replacement and upgrade of an existing underground electrical distribution feeder serving the Kotzebue Airport. Work activities include: 1) removal of existing medium-voltage underground distribution infrastructure, 2) installation of approximately 3,500 ft of underground conduit and new medium-voltage cable, 3) boring beneath the existing runway, 4) installation of sectionalizing cabinets, pad-mounted transformers, and associated protective equipment, and 5) backfilling, compaction, cable termination, and system testing.
